Bamboo Saplings: A New Chapter
Bamboo imparts many lessons, one of them is to live for others.
Lessons From Bamboo
Bamboo imparts many lessons, one of them is to live for others. Working with bamboo to serve the underserved is divine. Anything that is divine will test your patience before showing results. Keshav Srushti's bamboo project is the story of test of times & how every stone was carved into milestone with patience & grit. One of the chapters is the bamboo plantation effort.
Planting In Difficult Terrain
When we decided to plant bamboo in difficult terrain of Jawhar block in 2020-21, we were told to rethink. We took the risk & planted some beautiful species like Bambusa polymorpha & Dendrocalamus longispathus. Filled with lessons of resilience, today acres of bamboo plantation (Oxygen Park) are glowing green.
Vinay Kolte ji's First Visit
We invited Vinay Kolte ji in early 2025 to check if things were fine. He appreciated our sincere efforts & results. His assurance for support raised our confidence.
Training At The Nursery
This year we took up the next challenge, & it was a nursery. We requested Vinay ji to train us with possible methods. Vinay ji was humble as ever to train us at his nursery in Bhor in March 2026. We came back with a mission & did exactly what he said.
The Second Visit
Yesterday Vinay ji visited the Oxygen Park the second time & he was more than impressed to see Bambusa polymorpha saplings narrating the story of success themselves. He immediately took the phone & clicked a selfie with a great smile & satisfaction. To celebrate the occasion, he said, "Let's have a good cup of tea, Gaurav ji." We had 3 tea sessions dipped in long chats until we parted.
These saplings are a new chapter in our bamboo growth story.
Success tastes sweeter when it is the result of synergy. It becomes nectar when it's for the benefit of others. Let's redefine the path of success in a divine way.
