The Artisan's Touch & Heritage
Every piece is meticulously handcrafted by tribal women artisans belonging to the Vikramgad Bamboo Udyog Producer Company Limited. Harvested from local mature bamboo thickets in the rural forests of Palghar, each bamboo culm is seasoned, precision-cut, and manually lathed using time-honored tribal craftsmanship techniques passed down through generations.
By eliminating synthetic industrial resins and plastics, we preserve the natural grain, warmth, and strength of sustainable Indian bamboo while ensuring ethical wages and dignity of labor for our rural producers.
Bamboo First operates in direct partnership with NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) and Keshav Srushti to foster women's micro-enterprises and village self-reliance.
